Celebrating London’s Most Creative Talent for “Chelsea Creates”

COPA90 partnered with Chelsea Football Club to create “Chelsea Creates”, a pioneering campaign to celebrate and showcase the most exciting creative talent in London. 


Spanning 15 weeks, the “Chelsea Creates” project featured eye-catching collaborations across the fields of music, art and design, each linked to Chelsea FC and framed around London derbies for the men’s and women’s teams. 


As part of an integrated campaign, MatchFit targeted media within the lifestyle, creative and marketing trades to place strategic coverage in a new sector for the football club.

Helping Football #StayHomePlayTogether

COPA90 partnered with EA SPORTS to launch #StayHomePlayTogether – a series of FIFA 20 matches between leading European footballers, hosted by Rio Ferdinand.

With no access to players, we ensured that COPA90 and EA SPORTS’ content and initiative dominated the media market in the face of organic matches and copycat competitions.

Using the video content from Mason Mount vs Declan Rice, we transcribed the players’ conversations with Rio to identify newsworthy quotes and lines. The transcriptions were proactively shared with our football media contacts, on the condition they ran COPA90 messaging and content.

Using just one film, we delivered more than 75 pieces of editorial coverage across UK and global media, with each piece linking directly to COPA90’s YouTube channel, and including branded messaging.
