HEROING THE LIONESSES DURING UEFA WOMEN’S EURO 2022
From the build-up through the tournament itself, this was the opportunity of a generation for The FA to showcase the inspirational Lionesses, connect them with their communities and inspire girls to discover football.
We worked hand-in-hand with The Lionesses comms team to maximise every opportunity throughout UEFA Women’s EURO 2022.
From managing grassroots representation for every squad member at the St George’s Park media day, to identifying and telling the stories which had shaped the footballing lives of the team, we made sure national and broadcast media had the access they needed to tell the sporting story of the year.
The proactive work helped a vast media audience find deeper layers to The Lionesses story, identifying new and sustainable media allies for women’s football.
An absolute sweetspot for our mission, highlighting the power of sport as a force for good and showcasing the progress towards true diversity and equality.
