We’re looking for a brilliant Account Manager to join our fast-growing sports PR agency. The dream candidate will be a positive and collaborative team player, with outstanding communication skills, stellar media contacts and a drive to shape and deliver high quality work.


We’d love to identify an individual who specifically has a passion for women’s sport, is ambitious to grow with us and build their dream PR career within sport.

ROLE OVERVIEW:


The Account Manager will play a hugely important role at the heart of several of our world-class clients, reporting into an Account Director and our Head of Clients. You will also be responsible for line-managing an Account Executive as you develop your future leadership credentials.


This specific role will sit within the internal division which includes our numerous women’s sport specific briefs (of which women’s football plays a significant role) and projects. Whilst this role will not be solely be on women’s sport account work, it is anticipated that would account for at least 50% of the focus.


Within the last year such example workstreams have included:


- Campaigning to ‘Let Girls Play’ with The FA

- Storytelling around the Women’s National League

- The Mitre Golden Ball project for the Adobe Women’s FA Cup

- Media events for the Lionesses alongside The FA

- WSL season crescendo campaigns

- Storytelling around the Adobe Women’s FA Cup


The successful candidate will:

  • Outstanding client servicing skills

  • Brilliant teamwork skills

  • The ability to manage and communicate well both upwards and downwards

  • Evidence of being a confident and proactive problem solver

  • The ability to manage their time across multiple accounts at a high level

  • A proven ability to deliver high-quality PR campaigns

  • Calm confidence when working with high-profile talent

  • A natural love and enthusiasm for PR, and for unearthing and telling amazing stories through media relations and content.

  • A desire to play a role in new business pitches within a growing agency

  • A genuine love of sport

  • Be able to commute to our office in Shoreditch, London


Beneficial attributes for a candidate:

  • Experience within women’s sport specifically or deep personal passion and knowledge

  • Direct experience of working on sport related clients or campaigns more broadly (Note: We do not expect candidates to come from an agency that specialises in sport, indeed relevant consumer PR experience is every bit as valuable)

SALARY:


  • Starting from £37k DOE.
